In the previous Friday Meeting, discussing the "5 eternal entities," Dinkar Uncle explained that there is one Bhagwan (Lord Swaminarayan) and one Mool Akshar (Gunatitanand Swami). In regards to this, Bhaveshbhai asked that if either Bhagwan Swaminarayan or Mool Akshar Gunatitanand Swami came before or will come again?
Lord Vishnu took several incarnations, each for a specific purpose such as killing demons or re-establishing dharma. As the intent of liberating souls was not fulfilled, he prayed to Parabrahm Purushottam Narayan to manifest on the earth. Given in Swami Ni Vato 8/2 and 11/76, Gunatitanand Swami states, "This brahmaanda or world's Vairat [or ViratNarayan] was a kanishtha (low-level) mukta of Akshardham who, with a good wish, started the world's workings. But frustrated, he prayed for 50 years and 1 1/2 pahora (1 1/2 pahora is equal to 4 1/2 hours); At that time, Maharaj came here to remove [from souls] original ignorance [which is not totally understanding the form of Bhagwan Swaminarayan and Mool Akshar Gunatitanand Swami]."
In Swami Ni Vato 10/211, Gunatitanand Swami cites, "In Akshardham, Maharaj once asked, 'Why don't any souls from this new brahmaanda come here [to Akshardham]? Let us send someone from here, there.' Then a mukta like Aroopanand came here [to the world]. But he completely became stuck in this world. So Maharaj said, 'That mukta didn't come, and no souls came either.' Then a mukta like Narharianand went. He too got stuck in this world. Because that mukta was of ordinary maahaatmya (knowledge of God's glory) based on heta (love). Then a mukta like Svaroopanand said, 'Maharaj, that loka (world) is like that - whoever went, got stuck. If You want to liberate souls, then You and this, Your Mool Akshar, have to come to the brahmaanda along with us [muktas]; then, when countless souls gain total faith based on knowledge [of God's glory], will they reach Your feet.'" Thus, on Ramanavmi in 1781, Swaminarayan Bhagwan, and on Sharad Poornima in 1785, Gunatitanand Swami, manifested on the earth. Swami Ni Vato 10/211 continues, "To tell everyone [of God's incarnation], He sent Santdasji to the various lokas. Then 2 thousand avataaras came to the earth."
In Swami Ni Vato 8/1, Gunatitanand Swami explains, "In the old khardaas (letters), Maharaj has Himself given His purpose [of incarnating on the earth]: The earlier avataaras incarnated to serve a specific purpose. But this, My present incarnation, is to make souls brahmaroopa and grant them ultimate liberation. For this, I, Purushottam that transcends Akshar, have become like a human."
Dinkar Uncle explained that thus, Swaminarayan Bhagwan would not need to take an incarnation again - He came with such perfect techniques, that all previous fundamentals were changed. For example, He would not kill demons, but instead change them. The final technique was keeping a gunaateeta lineage on this earth: Swaminarayan Bhagwan resided in Mool Akshar Gunatitanand Swami, and remains residing in the lineage of brahmasvaroopa saints (that have attained the understanding/qualities of Mool Akshar Gunatitanand Swami).
Gunatitanand Swami has stated in many Swami Ni Vato (1/162, 6/221, 9/261, 11/301, amongst others), "Swaminarayan Bhagwan and Mool Akshar Gunatitanand Swami have never come to this world, and will never come again." Finally, Kakaji used to say that it does not seem that Swaminarayan Bhagwan has to come back, but He is God, and He can do anything according to His own wish!
