|FOCUS IN WORK|
|January 03, 2003 |
A question was asked as to how focus can be maintained admist problems. Dinkar Uncle added to the discussion that sometimes if we are focused on performing one task, and if someone comes with something else, we can communicate with that person while still not losing our focus. In other words, if something else is to be done, instead of thinking of it as a "brake" in our current focus, think of it as a "break" that will result in new ideas and increased maturity in the decision. Second, the problem or loss of focus is mostly internal: frustration, a lack of confidence, or a feeling that something may not work due to previous experiences. A spiritual person knows that every problem has a solution, that a problem can be viewed as an opportunity or stepping stone, and whatever is happening is for a reason and a good cause.
