Shikshapatri : Specific dharma for married and widowed women

Gujarati English Swami Ni Vato Refs.

Verse 173
ane suvaasinee ne vidhavaa evee je streeo temane vastra paheryaa vinaa nahaavu nahi ane potaanu je rajasvalaapanu te koee prakaare gupta na raakhavu. And women, whether married or widowed, should not bathe without wearing clothing. And never keep the menstrual cycle hidden.
Verse 174
ane valee rajasvalaa evee je suvaasinee ane vidhavaa streeo te trana divasa sudhee koi manushyane tathaa vastraadikane ade nahi ane chothe divase naaheene adavu. evee reete gruhasthaashramee evaa je purusha ane streeo temanaa je aa vishesha dharma kahyaa te sarve dharmavanshee aachaarya ane temanee patneeo temane pana paalavaa kemake e gruhastha chhe. And also married and widowed women who are experiencing their period should not touch another person or touch other clothing for 3 days, but should do so on the 4th day, after bathing.
Thus, I have related the special dharma for householder men and women, and it should also be followed by the Acharyas (of the religious line) and their wives, because they are householders.
